What is The Baptist School

The Baptist School was started in 1992 as a ministry of the Open Bible Baptist Church of Tonawanda, New York.

The Baptist School is open to all students of like faith and convictions. Parents must, in good conscience, support the standards, and disciplinary practices of the school as outlined in the handbook. A Pastor's recommendation is also a requirement for acceptance.

Transfer of students entering grades 10--12 is discouraged, but some exceptions may be made. Please check with the school before making plans.

Registration is now open for the new school year. For more information, a tour, or a registration packet, when you call the school at (716) 695-5334, please let us know how you came across our site.

Opportunities For Parents
to Get Involved

We currently have a number of volunteers serving in various positions such as:

  • Classroom aides
  • Library workers
  • Lunchroom monitors
  • Study-hall monitors
  • Sports and gym teachers
  • Janitorial and custodial work
  • Fund-raising coordinators
  • And yes, even teachers

Every volunteer we have helps us to provide a better education for your child at the lowest possible cost.
Consider becoming a volunteer worker. If you are interested, talk to Principal Scott Tracey,
and we will try to match your skill areas with needed work.
